Hydration
Glycerol
Glycerol is a hyperhydration aid with evidence for weight-based dosing before prolonged endurance exercise.
How it counts: Not part of the score
We show it on the label and count it as disclosed, but it never affects Dose, any sub-score or the grade. The basis below explains why.

Evidence summary
Research confidence: low
The clinically-supported hyperhydration protocol is weight-based: 1.0-1.2 g glycerol/kg body weight (with ~26 mL fluid/kg) ~60-90 min pre-exercise. effMin/effMax shown here are computed for a 75 kg reference lifter (75,000-90,000 mg = 75-90 g) purely to populate the fixed-dose formula fields; the real effective dose should be computed from bodyweight, not treated as a fixed label number.
