About StimIndex
StimIndex compares pre-workout labels using a documented, reproducible methodology. Here is who operates the site, how it is funded and how to reach us.
Who runs StimIndex
StimIndex is a project of grndlvl.
We're hobbyists, not scientists, dietitians or pro bodybuilders. We do our homework, but we'll get things wrong.
Funding and independence
Store links currently carry no commission.
Affiliate payments and commission amounts do not determine a product's score or tier. Brands cannot pay for placement or to change a score, tier, ranking or award.
Keeping the catalog current
We check prices every day at stores that allow automatic checks, and update the rest by hand. Scores are recalculated after price changes and label edits, and the whole catalog is recalculated every night. A page can take a few minutes to show a change.
