No reference dose: boron has no established requirement and no ergogenic benefit shown in training studies. The hormone result most often cited (Naghii 2011) used 10 mg/day in 8 men; pre-workouts carry about 3 mg, far below the 20 mg/day adult upper limit (NIH ODS).
